Why You'll Enjoy It

One of the perks of this role is that you’re making local deliveries. While long-haul drivers can spend weeks on the road, as a propane delivery driver, you’ll be home at night to spend more time with family and friends.

Why Propane Delivery Driver Is an Awesome Career

What makes it awesome? For starters, you’re the reason someone stays warm in a snowstorm or a business keeps running during the holidays. It’s hands-on, physical work that keeps you moving—and no two days are the same. You work independently, solve problems on the go, and build real connections with the people you serve.

And the fuel you deliver? Every stop you make helps households and businesses rely on a lower-carbon energy option. By supporting off-grid energy access, you’re easing the strain on overloaded electric systems and helping reduce the environmental impact of heating season.

Add in solid pay, real benefits, and the fact that you’re home most nights—and you’ve got a rare balance of independence and stability. That’s not just a job. That’s awesome.

If you like being outdoors, working with your hands, and seeing the impact of what you do every day, propane delivery might just be the awesome career you’ve been looking for.

Entry Level Driver Training

The National Propane Gas Association developed the Administrative Compliance Experts™ (ACE) program to assist companies in navigating entry-level driver training more easily.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires all new CDL- and HME-applicants to successfully complete theory and behind-the-wheel training before they can take a state’s CDL or HME exams. The requirement is called Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT).
